Top Two Teams Make Championship Match: 4 p.m. (if two teams don’t mind waiting a bit would be fun to play under the lights and starting closer to 5)
Win 3 points
Tie 1 point
Tie breakers
1. Head to head result
2. Goal differential
3. Goals for
4. Coin toss
Golden Goal in Final Match (if I can get official on board with this would like to end the championship match with a goal)
After two 20 minute halves teams enter an untimed extra period
Target score is established by adding one goal to the tally of the leading team. If teams are tied than one goal is added to tied score
Example: If after 40 minutes Team A leads 3-1 than target score is 4. If teams are tied 1-1 target score is 2.
The first team to hit the target score wins
Based on example above if scenario 1 and Team A leads 3-1 when they score fourth goal they win. If Team B is able to score three goals before Team A scores 1 they win.
If teams are tied 1-1 then first team to score wins
After every 5 minutes of play during extra period (when play comes to a natural stop: out of bounds, foul, etc) the official will remove a player from the field.
So after 5 min it becomes 5v5, 10 min becomes 4v4, stops at 3v3
Players removed can come back on. It’s just you have lesser players on field.
